Rexall Foundation Donates $10,000 to Liberty For Youth

Hamilton, Ontario (June 9, 2018) – The Rexall Foundation has donated $10,000 to Liberty For Youth which provides safe mentoring relationships with at-risk youth. This donation will ensure consistent, reliable programming is provided to 100 youth aged 12 to 25 in Southern Ontario.
“The Rexall Foundation is pleased to empower young people and help provide alternatives to at-risk youth,” said Brian McLaughlin, Chair, Rexall Foundation. “The Rexall Foundation is committed to improving the wellness of adolescence in Canada and continues to help them build character and create positive lifestyles filled with opportunity and personal success.”
“The Rexall Foundation’s donation of $10,000 will go a long way in providing assistance and direction to disadvantaged and marginalized youth,” said Frederick Dryden, Founder and Executive Director, Liberty For Youth. “It is our goal to maintain program sustainability and continue reaching our goal of serving at least 100 youth annually. The generous donation from the Rexall Foundation will have a significant impact on youth who are trapped in a negative existence.”
The Rexall Foundation has been helping build strong and vibrant communities by supporting numerous charitable organizations since 2002. Whether it’s a community or children’s hospital or a disease prevention organization, the Foundation values the role it plays in helping the delivery of numerous programs and services in Canada. In 2018, the Rexall Foundation has already donated over $475,164 to 52 charitable organizations that promote the health and wellness of children and seniors, including charities in Ontario, such as Easter Seals Ontario, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation, Hospice Wellington, Project AIM Programs, Geneva Centre for Autism Foundation, plus many more local and national charities across Canada.
