OFFICAL CONTEST RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. The Rexall Care Network Charity Bear is available for purchase at participating Rexall pharmacies, but purchase is not required to participate. Making a purchase will not improve your chances of winning.on August 14, 2025 (the “Contest Period”).

1. CONTEST SPONSOR: The Rexall Care Network Charity Bear contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Rexall Care Network (the “Sponsor”).

2. ELIGIBILITY: To enter and be eligible to win, an entrant must be a legal resident of Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec), have reached the age of majority in their province/territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of the Sponsor, Rexall Care Network, including members of its Board of Directors, are not eligible to participate in this Contest. This exclusion also applies to employees, agents, and representatives of the Sponsor’s affiliated legal entities, advertising or promotional agencies, and any third-party company hired to help administer, promote, or oversee the contest, together with members of any such individual’s immediate family (regardless of where they live) and persons with whom they are domiciled, whether related or not. For the purposes of these Official Contest Rules, “immediate family” includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, and/or legal or common-law spouse. Proof of identification and age must be provided upon request. 

This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, territorial, and municipal laws. Void where prohibited by law.

3. CONTEST PERIOD: The Contest begins at 12:00:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on September 30th, 2025 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on December 30th, 2025 (the “Contest Period”).

HOW TO ENTER: 
To enter, post a photo on Instagram of yourself celebrating Canada with your Rexall Care Network Charity Bear tagging @RexallCareNetwork and using the hashtag #RCNCharityBear. Be creative -think Canadian colours, flags, or traditions! (No purchase required, and you don’t need to take the bear outside the pharmacy if you don’t want to). The Rexall Care Network Charity Bear is available for purchase at participating Rexall pharmacies. Alternatively, you may visit any participating Rexall pharmacy to take a photo with the display bear. All photos must be taken within Canada.

  • Each unique photo with the hashtag counts as one entry. You may submit multiple entries, but each photo must be different.
  • Your Instagram account must be public so that your entry can be seen.
  • Each photo must be your own original work and comply with these Official Contest Rules and Instagram’s terms and policies.
  • Entries that include offensive, inappropriate, or infringing content (for example, copyrighted images that don’t belong to you) will be disqualified.
  • Once posted, entries can’t be changed or replaced.
  • By posting a photo with the hashtag, you grant Rexall Care Network a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your photo for contest-related and promotional purposes in any media now known or hereafter developed.
  • Using bots, computer programs, or other automated tools to post entries is not allowed.

4. PRIZE DETAILS:

  • Total number of prizes available: 6
  • Each Prize consists of one (1) Rexall Gift Card (approximate retail value: $50 CAD) (the “Prize”).
  • Total approximate retail value of all Prizes: $300 CAD.

Each Prize must be accepted as awarded and is provided “as is” without warranty. Prizes cannot be substituted, transferred, or redeemed for cash. If a Prize cannot be awarded as described, the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Winners who fail to claim or use their Prize will not receive compensation. Gift card terms and conditions apply.

Arrangements to receive the Prize will be made directly with each winner.

5. RANDOM PRIZE DRAW, WINNER NOTIFICATION, AND WINNERS’ LIST
A random draw to select the winners (“Selected Entrants”) will be held on January 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET at the Sponsor’s head office in Mississauga, Ontario, from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
The Selected Entrants will be notified by email or Instagram direct message within 2 business days of the draw. To claim the Prize, each Selected Entrant must:

  1. Correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical or other aid.
  2. Sign and return the Sponsor’s Release Form within two (2) business days.

The Release Form confirms the winner's: (1) compliance with these Official Contest Rules; (2) acceptance of the prize as awarded; (3) release of the Sponsor and its affiliates from liability; and (4) consent to the Sponsor's use of their name, city/province of residence, and photograph in any media or format for contest-related publicity without additional compensation.
If a Selected Entrant cannot be contacted, fails the skill-testing question, or does not return a properly executed Release Form in time, they will be disqualified, and an alternate winner may be randomly selected from remaining eligible entries at the Sponsor’s discretion.


Winners’ List: To request a list of winners, send an email to RexallCareNetwork@rexall.ca within 30 days of the Contest closing.

6. GENERAL
The Sponsor and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents (“Releasees”) are not liable for:

  • Delays, errors, or problems with phone, internet, or technical systems;
  • Loss, theft, or corruption of data;
  • Any failure of a website, platform, computer, or software during the Contest Period;
  • Entry failures caused by technical problems, internet traffic congestion, or system malfunctions; or
  • Any injury or damage to a person’s device or property related to participating in the Contest.

The Sponsor may suspend, amend, or terminate the Contest if circumstances beyond its reasonable control affect the Contest's proper administration, security, fairness, or operation. Any attempt to deliberately damage Contest-related websites or interfere with the Contest is prohibited and may result in civil or criminal liability. The Sponsor reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entries that are late, illegible, falsified, tampered with, automated, or otherwise non-compliant with these Rules.

The Sponsor reserves the right to amend these Rules or terminate the Contest at any time. If terminated early, prizes may be awarded from eligible entries received before termination. These Official Contest Rules take precedence over any other Contest materials. All Sponsor decisions are final and binding. The Sponsor will only correspond with Selected Entrants. These Rules are available in English only.

By entering, participants consent to the collection, storage, and use of personal information submitted with an entry solely for Contest administration, prize fulfillment, and related publicity, in accordance with these Rules and the Sponsor’s privacy policy (available at: http://www.rexall.ca/external-privacy-policy). Personal information will not be used for other purposes without consent.

These Official Contest Rules are available on the Sponsor’s website during the Contest Period. This Contest is governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada. Participants consent to the personal jurisdiction of the courts in Toronto, Ontario, which have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes relating to the Contest to the fullest extent permitted by law.
